[(reps/30) +1] x weight. You need to guess how much weight you can lift for 10 reps. If you think you can do 10 reps using 100 pounds on a bench press, but actually complete 6 reps, use "6" in the formula for reps and 100 lbs for weight.
In this example its: [(6 reps/30) +1] x 100 (lbs) weight = 120, The 1RM is 120 lbs.
